Building stronger people for a stronger world.
"We don't usually lose our lives to catastrophe. We lose them to routine."
Aaron Nauta is a Community Impact & Safety Expert, Resilience & Leadership Coach, and Professional Speaker based in Melbourne, Australia. With over 20 years of experience across health, safety, fitness, and community development, Aaron works with individuals, organisations, and communities to build real-world strength — the kind that holds when life gets hard.
His keynote Don't Blink explores why we sleepwalk through life, why comfort is more dangerous than crisis, and how to reclaim the felt length of your life by waking up to it. It's a talk that moves people — and gives them the tools to stay moved long after they leave the room.
Aaron is the co-director of four businesses alongside his husband Brendan Daynes: AB Health & Fitness (a community gym in Melbourne), AB First Aid (nationally certified safety training), The Big S'Cool Walk (a charity supporting children in the Philippines), and the Siquijor Island Marathon (a destination event in the Philippines).
He's also the host of a podcast built on real conversations about resilience, community, and living with purpose — and the author of a forthcoming book, Don't Blink, expanding on the ideas that have shaped his speaking career.
Aaron believes that strength isn't built in crisis — it's built before it arrives. And that the most important work a leader can do is help others believe the same.
